Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties

• Operate POS systems accurately for cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries
• Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing products
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
• Handle cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
• Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Support supervising staff when necessary, including overseeing sales floor activities Experience
• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math calculations
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and perform merchandising tasks effectively
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
