Position Overview Manatee Farms, a trusted local grower of high-quality plants for over 50 years, is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented In-House Sales Representative to join our sales team. This position is ideal for someone with strong plant industry experience who understands the needs of national, regional, and local retail and wholesale customers. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven and results-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing customer accounts, orders, and sales data. This role will manage existing clients while also prospecting for new customers to drive increased sales and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong customer relationships with retail and wholesale clients. * Understand and meet the specific needs of each customer with careful attention to order details, product specifications, and timelines. * Drive sales results through proactive customer engagement and follow-up. * Perform accurate data entry and manage customer information using computer systems (QuickBooks ). * Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries promptly and professionally. * Travel locally to visit customers as needed. * Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support overall company sales goals. * Review and verify orders for quality, accuracy, and completeness prior to fulfillment. Job Requirements * Proven sales experience in the plant or horticulture industry. * Extensive knowledge of plants and plant care. * Proficiency in Microsoft and Google platforms/programs. * QuickBooks experience preferred. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities accurately. * Strong time management and organizational skills. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Must live within 25 miles of operation.
