A national Hotel Management Group seeks an experienced Hotel Sales Manager with Marriott experience and a proven track record in the effective selling of rooms and events. If so, please submit your resume today! * Benefits: * Salary $75,000 * Aggressive Commission Plan * Health, Dental, & Vision * PTO Responsibilities: * Responsible for the overall success of the Sales and Marketing team to maximize total revenue and ensuring sales goals are met and exceeded * Established client base and cultivate relationships, building business, and provide a stable and positive work environment for the team * Spend a significant amount of time out of the hotel surveying market and comp set/neighboring hotels, researching new clients/opportunities, and knowing the market and its environment * Observe local trends in the market * Conduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and review competition reader boards to develop leads. * Supporting and Developing the Sales Managers Qualifications: * Minimum 3-5 years of Sales Experience * Any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered or other sales experience * Past Marriott Hotel Sales Manager in the SMERF experience a plus * 4-year College Degree or Equivalent experience preferred * Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact * Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meets client needs, and resolve complaints * Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections * Detail-oriented.
