The Sales Associate at Softub, Inc. plays a key role in creating engaging, informative, and supportive experience for customers exploring Softub portable Spa products. This role focuses on consultative selling, customer education, and maintaining the showroom environment while supporting daily operations. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Sales * Greet customers warmly and build rapport to understand their needs and interests. * Provide expert product knowledge on Softub models, features, benefits, and accessories. * Demonstrate products and explain installation, maintenance, and energy efficiency. * Guide customers through the entire sales process, including quotes, financing options (if applicable), and paperwork. * Follow up with leads and referrals. Showroom & Brand Presentation * Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom, including Softub demo units. * Ensure signage, pricing, and product displays meet brand standards. * Assist with in-store events, promotions, and seasonal setups. Operations & Support * Help manage inventory of spas, accessories, and water-care products. * Process transactions accurately using the POS system. * Support product delivery coordination and customer service inquiries. * Assist with basic troubleshooting questions regarding Softub maintenance or setup. Customer Service * Provide outstanding service before, during, and after the sale. * Address customer questions, concerns, and warranty or service inquiries professionally. * Help create a welcoming, low-pressure environment that reflects Softub's customer-first culture. Skills & Qualifications * Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Comfortable learning technical product details and explaining them clearly. * Sales-driven with a friendly, customer-focused attitude. * Ability to work weekends, holidays, and store events as needed. * Computer skills for inventory tasks. Physical Requirements * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Ability to lift or move moderate-weight items (e.g., accessories, boxes, marketing displays). Preferred Qualifications * Experience in specialty retail, outdoor living, home goods, or spa/pool industry. * Familiarity with consultative selling.
