Full description of the position
ROLE SUMMARY: Our BMS Sales Associate needs to be comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, & co-workers by receiving & making phone calls, emails, & Zoom/Team meetings. You are responsible for evaluating specifications & drawings & proactively selling to new and existing customers, converting enquiries received into the business. Our Sales Associate must follow up with customers, subcontractors, & vendors to ensure the sales happen smoothly. Our Sales Associate will assist from the start of the sale to completion. You will assist with client satisfaction & the financial outcome of the sale. You should have strong organizational, time management, & problem-solving skills, pay attention to details, & be able to be self-direct. You should also have a basic knowledge of the construction industry (Division 8 would be a plus); strong computer skills; & be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Zoom. Physical demand for this position: While performing the duties for this job, you, the employee, are regularly required to sit for long periods and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
