Job Summary: The Retail Sales Associate plays a very important role at The Sarasota Style. In this position, it will be essential to greet and engage with all Sarasota Style guests, as you are a very important impression of the business. Below are the fundamental areas that each Retail Sales Associate must perform on a daily basis to ensure positive retail operations. Inform customers about sales, promotions, and upcoming events Build guest relationships through excellent customer service and honest recommendations Effectively process transactions through Gift Shop POS system Stock and merchandise sales floor as directed Process incoming merchandise as directed Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness in the back stock room and on the sales floor Other related duties as directed by management Essential Qualifications and Experience: Must have solid communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with guests, peers, and management Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to guests and remaining flexible to the needs of the business Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service Previous retail experience or similar experience on the sales floor a plus High school diploma or equivalent Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders Must be willing to work peak hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs Full time and part time positions available $18 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
