Sales Floor Associate - Austin Habitat for Humanity (AHFH) Location: Austin, TX Pay: $16.50 per hour Schedule: Full-time (includes weekends & holidays) Staffing Agency: GSG Talent Solutions (Staffing for AHFH) IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT All applicants MUST pass a drug test and a full background check before starting. This requirement is mandatory for all candidates. About the Role GSG Talent Solutions is hiring Sales Floor Associates to support AHFH's ReStore. This role involves customer service, merchandising, stocking, store presentation, and supporting overall retail operations. Key Responsibilities * Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service * Assist customers with product questions and suggestions * Merchandise items attractively and rotate inventory * Move merchandise from receiving to sales floor * Maintain clean and organized store areas * Participate in seasonal merchandising and display setups * Support annual and periodic inventory counts * Assist donors with greeting, receiving, and donation receipts * Operate pallet jack/forklift if needed (preferred but not required) * Maintain professional appearance and representation of mission Qualifications * Must pass a drug test and background check * GED/High school diploma OR 4 years equivalent experience * 1 year of customer service experience required * Merchandising experience preferred * Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred * Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Why Work with AHFH * Support a mission that impacts the Austin community * Benefits: vacation, sick leave, health insurance, 401k * Employee discount at ReStore Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Ability to lift 50lbs or more Experience: * Merchandising: 2 years (Preferred) * Merchandise Display Setup : 2 years (Preferred) * Customer service: 2 years (Preferred) * Sales: 2 years (Preferred) * Forklift: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
