Manufacturing Sales Estimator This reputable manufacturing company located in Minneapolis, MN is offering an outstanding career opportunity in Sales/Estimating. As a technology innovation manufacturing company, they are a key player in the manufacturing of components used daily, in almost every industry. From aerospace, outdoor recreational equipment, furniture, renewable energy, HVAC, hydraulics, oil & gas, appliances, medical devices, and many more. Manufacturing Sales Estimator Job Duties * Compute cost and time factors and prepares quotes in response to customer and RFQ's utilizing our company's quoting software. * Identify potential vendors or subcontractors as needed and determining cost effectiveness. * Review data to determine material and labor requirements. * Consult with customers, vendors, potential customers, and other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and/or resolve issues. * Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with customer's while maintaining sales volumes and margins. * Review purchase orders, blue prints, and quality requirements and re-price existing jobs. * Ability to follow a variety of work instructions * All other tasks assigned. The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics: * Excellent customer service skills via phone, email and in-person * Shop math skills using fractions, decimals, and metric conversion * Solid computer skills * Strong work ethics * Ability to learn & follow documented processs * Ability to analysis blueprints Pre-Employment Screening: Physical, Drug Screening, and Background check required.
