Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, knowledgeable about product offerings, and capable of creating an engaging shopping experience. This role involves assisting customers, managing sales transactions, and supporting store operations to ensure a seamless shopping environment. Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities * Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves * Handle stock replenishment and inventory management tasks * Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed during transactions * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Assist with phone etiquette for customer calls and inquiries * Supervise or mentor new team members as needed in supervisory roles * Support overall store operations including cashiering, merchandising, and stock management Skills * Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities * Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts * Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases * Demonstrated upselling techniques to increase sales revenue * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product displays in a retail or grocery store setting * Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership roles within the team * Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone * Basic math skills necessary for handling cash transactions and retail calculations * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an engaging work environment where your enthusiasm for retail sales can shine.
