Overview B&B Logistics is looking for a Senior Logistics Sales Executive FTL & Brokerage. Join our dynamic team as an Account Manager specializing in Transportation and Logistics, where you'll drive growth and foster strong relationships within the freight and supply chain industry. Position Overview Senior Logistics Sales Executive FTL & Brokerage is a senior-level sales role focused on aggressive business development with Full Truckload (FTL), final mile, specialized, and expedited transportation services. The Sales Account Manager will be expected to actively cold call and conduct high-volume telephone-based sales outreach to identify and secure new business. Success in this role requires strong closing ability, persistence, and deep industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will bring an existing book of business and strong shipper relationships and leverage Burton Logistics' asset-based fleet and brokerage network to drive immediate and long-term business alliances. Key Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, telephone sales, and direct outreach within FTL, local shuttle, and expedited trucking services * Broker freight by sourcing and securing reliable carriers for shippers on the open market * Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and logistics decision-makers * Develop customized transportation solutions based on customer requirements * Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to onboarding new customers * Collaborate closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure service expectations are met * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and customer interactions * Stay current on market trends, rates, and industry conditions * Meet or exceed sales targets and growth objectives Qualifications * Senior-level experience in transportation, logistics sales, or freight brokerage * Extensive knowledge of Full Truckload (FTL) transportation and logistics * Strong experience with freight brokering, including finding and managing carriers on the open market * Proven ability to cold call, prospect, and close new business via telephone-based sales * Strong understanding of freight pricing, lanes, and capacity dynamics * Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills * Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software Preferred Experience * Experience using McLeod TMS software * Established book of business or industry contacts * Experience selling shuttle and expedited truck services * Familiarity with regional and national freight markets Compensation Compensation is base salary plus commission and is highly competitive , based on the candidate's level of experience, proven sales performance, and ability to bring in immediate new business opportunities. * Base salary commensurate with senior-level experience * Commission structure tied directly to revenue and margin performance * Higher earning potential for candidates with an existing, transferable book of business * Performance-based incentives for sustained growth What We Offer * Competitive base salary plus commission * Commission structure designed to reward growth and performance * Supportive and growing company environment * Opportunity to leverage an existing book of business * Long-term career advancement potential * Medical Benefits * Vacation and Paid Time Off * 401(k) Match Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $49,050.67 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In personB&B LOGISTICS LLC
