About the Role This is a full-cycle sales role for an experienced seller who wants clear ownership, real accountability, and a direct impact on company growth. You'll own inbound demand and targeted outbound efforts, qualify and disqualify opportunities, and lead structured, consultative conversations with homeowners from first call through signed agreement. This role requires individual ownership of deals. You will be the primary seller on each opportunity and fully responsible for moving deals forward. This is not a support role and not a team-closing position. Success in this role requires strong sales judgment, comfort discussing revenue and tradeoffs, and the ability to advance conversations without hand- holding. You'll work closely with operations to ensure owners are set up for long-term success and that expectations are clear before onboarding begins. This position is designed to be a primary, full-time role. It requires consistent weekday availability, responsiveness to inbound leads, and flexibility for in-person property tours. It is not compatible with maintaining another active sales, advisory, or client-facing role. Compensation reflects performance and ownership. The role includes a base salary of $45,000-$55,000 with variable compensation tied directly to results and on-target earnings of $120,000 annually. You build trust by explaining STR fundamentals clearly and without overpromising. You collaborate tightly with operations so owners start on the right foot. You maintain a strong, organized pipeline and act with ownership in everything you do. You carry yourself with professionalism in all areas of your work. Core Responsibilities > Inbound Sales (80-90%) Own inbound leads end-to-end, qualifying rigorously and disqualifying poor- fit opportunities through a structured consultative process. Assess property fit, STR licensing considerations, revenue potential, and owner goals. Explain revenue drivers using pro formas, comps, or modeled scenarios. Conduct thoughtful discovery to understand motivations, constraints, and decision criteria. Send crisp follow-ups with summaries, next steps, and onboarding expectations. Attend in-person property tours with operations. > Outbound Sales (10-20%) Build targeted outbound activity through curated lists and relationship- based outreach. Engage agents, investors, and local networks to generate referrals. Test messaging, track performance, and iterate quickly. > Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations and onboarding to ensure smooth transitions for new owners. Surface patterns and objections to improve messaging and process. Provide clean, accurate handoffs to support strong early retention. > Pipeline & Process Discipline Maintain a clean CRM with accurate stages, notes, and forecasting. Keep deals moving - no stalled conversations or loose ends. Join weekly 1:1s for pipeline review, deal strategy, operational alignment, training, and development. Help refine scripts, messaging, and workflows as the motion scales. Skills & Experience 2-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience as an individual contributor. Comfortable running high-quality inbound cycles and supplementing with targeted outbound. Strong history of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Clear, professional written and spoken communication skills. High EQ; steady and professional in high-stakes conversations. Organized, reliable, and disciplined across multiple deal cycles. Curious and analytical; comfortable discussing revenue, ROI, and owner psychology. Helpful but not required: familiarity with sales methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC, etc.).
