Job Title: Sales, Parties & Events Manager Job Type: Full-Time Location: Santee / La Mesa, CA Company: The Playground (Indoor Playground) About Us The Playground is one of San Diego's fastest-growing indoor playgrounds, known for creating fun, safe, and unforgettable experiences for children and families. We are looking for a kid-friendly, energetic, professional, and creative Sales, Parties & Events Manager who enjoys being around children, parents, and a lively family environment. This is a children's indoor playground -- we want someone who genuinely loves working with families, is warm and outgoing, and can help create memorable celebrations. Responsibilities Manage all incoming party inquiries (phone, text, email, social media) Assist families with choosing the best party package and custom add-ons Communicate warmly and professionally with parents and guardians Coordinate schedules, confirmations, and detailed party plans Oversee party preparation and ensure smooth event execution Work closely with team members to deliver a fun, organized, kid-friendly experience Help create new themed party ideas, decor options, and experiences Support seasonal events, private events, and special activity days Maintain excellent organization and follow-through with all bookings Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales, hospitality, event coordination, or customer- facing roles MUST enjoy being around children and families Kid-friendly, patient, and positive personality Creative mindset with enthusiasm for party themes and fun experiences Strong communication skills (in-person, phone, email, and text) Highly organized and detail-oriented -- able to manage multiple party bookings Energetic, friendly, outgoing, and professionally polished Proactive self-starter who takes initiative without constant direction Comfortable working weekends (our busiest party days) Ability to work in a fast-paced, family-centered environment Compensation $22 - $25 per hour (DOE) Performance Bonuses Party Booking Incentives Opportunities for leadership and career growth as we expand Why Join Our Team?
