Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Tire Sales Associate to join our team at Rent a Wheel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers in a retail environment to close deals. This role involves assisting customers by meeting their needs with our stores' well-stocked inventory. A successful Retail Tire Sales Associate will contribute to a positive shopping experience while achieving sales goals. Duties * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns with closing the sale/rental as outcome. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. * Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and displays. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential customers. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels. * Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via telephone. * Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience * Previous experience in retail Tire and Wheel sales store environment is preferred. * Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering procedures is essential. * Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse customers is valued. * Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. * A background in merchandising or product demos will be advantageous in this role.
