GEECO Reports to : Sales Manager Job Description for Inside Sales Representative *General Engineering & Equipment Company in Hopkins, MN is seeking an Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detailed oriented individual with computer skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn inventory system. Must be professional in both verbal and written customer documentation. Ability to manage time effectively and learn new product lines. Job Summary * Enter orders and quotes and perform quote follow-ups/analysis and follow through with ownership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, quality, and lead times with manufacturers * Assist with customer returns * Build and strengthen relationships with customers and vendors * Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment * Hourly, non-commission position with full benefits and an excellent 401K plan. Skills * Mechanical aptitude or technical inclination required * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Team approach to achieving high performance * Self-management with the drive to succeed and achieve goals * Independent ability to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisions * Computer proficiency and organizational skills * Energetic and positive with a willingness to grow skill set * 2-3 years sales/power transmission industry experience * High School Diploma or GED Required Work Environment * This job operates in a professional office environment.
