Long term Career Opportunity! We are seeking a Motivated Sales Associate for our 4000 sq. ft. showroom in Surprise AZ. Previous Flooring Sales and Home Remodeling is recommended but not required. If you have Direct Customer Service experience, we will train the right person! We are a family run store with two locations. We sell and install Carpet, Tile, Wood & LVP Planks for residential and commercial properties. Treat your customer right and they typically come back for more! You can also provide bath and shower remodels as well as new kitchens, cabinets and countertops. Flooring is just the start. A full service, customer oriented type shop! We are hiring the right candidate to blend in and fit in with our culture that we have established over the past 23 years. We are well know and respected in the business. You work, you cultivate, you build a pipeline, you create relationships, you sell, you manage, you will be successful! You will definitely reap your reward. Then Repeat! You should have some sort of Customer Service background. Appliance sales, Servers, Cell Phone, Clothing, Furniture and Auto Sales. You must be engaged with the customer! Not shy but yet not pushy either. We are looking for a person that is not afraid to communicate with clients. Have the "Gift of Gab"! We have long built relationships with a plethora of vendors. You will have limitless products available to you to assist your client with their every need. Communication from all sources works best in this line of work. Phone, text and Email are basically always on. We will train the right candidate(s). A Two month probationary period will be the right amount of training to discover your Inner Remodeler. A $500 week training wage is paid during that time period. *After the initial training is completed, you will have enough knowledge and potential projects/clients in your pipeline. Again, upon completion of the training period, the pay grade turns to 100% COMMISSION with NO Hourly/Salary. If you listened and learned, you will definitely have what it takes to make a very comfortable living. * You will be responsible for greeting, assisting and selling customers. Strong customer service is a must and reaps rewards of more sales. * You must be able and comfortable to visit potential clients homes for measuring and assessments. This could be anywhere in the PHX Metro Area. * You will be responsible for assisting customers, making appointments, measuring, ordering, pricing and tracking your projects. Ring Master! * You have to have strong follow up skills and occasionally need the ability to make a good decision or pivot under stress. * You must have the ability and willingness to learn. * You will be responsible for adding your schedule(s) and appointment times to the Company supplied Google Calendar. We need to know generally who is in or not in the showroom. * You must be savvy at math and measurements. This can be trained, but math skills are needed. * You have to able to problem solve. Period. * You must be able to work some Saturdays and Sundays. There will be a rotating schedule (though flexible) * You are required to gather at least One (5 Star) Google review a month. We are a relaxed mom and pop type setup with customer service and satisfaction as our goal! We are always here to help make our sales teams stronger!
