As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective communication, merchandising, and product demonstrations. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and returns. * Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure the register is balanced at the end of each shift. * Assist in stocking shelves and merchandising products to create an appealing shopping environment. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. * Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas. * Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and objectives. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Supervising experience is beneficial for potential leadership roles within the team. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers. * Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and basic math skills are essential for success in this role. * Experience with retail math, cashiering, stock management, and merchandising will be advantageous.
