Job Description: Business Analytics Sales Coordinator REA Analytics (REA) is seeking a dynamic and talented person to fill the position of Business Analytics Sales Coordinator. REA is a small analytics firm located in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan. REA provides strategic planning, research, data monitoring, dashboard development, and analytics for small business and non-profits. REA has historically focused on providing evaluation of programs funded by state or federal competitive grants. REA has recently launched a Business Analytics division. The Business Analytics Sales Coordinator will be responsible for promoting REA's Business Analytics services, building a network of clients, and generating sales revenue. The person leading this effort will be required to conduct outreach to local businesses, attend networking events, facilitate meetings with potential customers, and coordinate with the rest of REA's team to facilitate execution of contracts. Specific roles and responsibilities include: * Outreach, networking event attendance, and customer pipeline building in accordance with the plan described below * Meeting with clients to identify needs * Documentation in local CRM * Checking in with existing clients for account renewals * Organizing hand-offs for contract execution * Collaboration with Customer Relations Manager for promotion Required skills and background * At least 3 years' background in sales, customer relations, or related fields * Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets * Strong communication skills and ability to work with others in a team environment * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field * Self-motivated * Proficient in Office 365 including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Familiarity with Microsoft Teams * Preferred experience using HubSpot or comparable CRM * Personable REA is a small business with dynamic roles that may require team members to operate outside the scope of their job description to meet demands from customers. This flexibility brings with it the opportunity to adapt the position in a mutually beneficial direction, allowing the pursuit of personal career goals as they contribute towards the growth of the overall business. REA revisits roles and responsibilities on an annual basis where employees can provide input into position descriptions and requirements. Positions may be adapted over time to promote personal and business growth. Wages - The position will be 50% salaried and 50% commission. Starting Salary: $40K/year Commission: 15% of executed contracts The position will include a 6-month on-ramping period in accordance with the target goals below. For the first 6 months, the Sales Coordinator will receive a minimum commission of $2,000/month for meeting the below targets. Obtained contracts will be paid commission in accordance with the rate above. After the first 6 months, commission will be set based on revenue generated. PTO peaks at 160 hours * 40 hours of sick leave annually * Profit Sharing (10% of profits allocated to employees) * Paid Holidays 6-month sales plan - Month 1: Learn the product, understand customer pipeline, and begin outreach o 40-60 outbound calls per week o 40 personalized emails per week o Attend 1-2 local networking events o Build a list of 150 - 200 target accounts in the region o Complete all product and CRM trainings o Set 4-6 intro meetings with prospects o COMMISSION: hit 80% of targets - Month 2: Build early pipeline o 60-80 outbound calls per week o 50 personalized emails per week o 6-8 intro meetings booked o Attend 2 networking events o Add 10-15 new contacts per week into CRM o Generate 2-3 qualified opportunities (Sales Qualified Lead (SQLs)) o COMMISSION: hit 80% of targets and 2 SQLs - Month 3: Move from conversations to real opportunities o 60-80 outbound calls per week o 50 emails per week o 8-10 intro meetings booked o 3-4 SQLs created o Attend 2 networking events o Conduct 2-3 discovery calls with decision makers o Build a pipeline of $75 - 100K in potential revenue o COMMISSION: hit 80% of targets and maintain minimum pipeline value - Month 4: Begin advanced deals o 50 - 70 outbound calls per week o 40 emails per week o 8-10 intro meetings booked o 4-5 SQLs created o 2-3 proposals or demos delivered o Pipeline of $150K o Attend 1-2 networking events o COMMISSION: 80% of activity targets and deliver at least 2 proposals/demos - Month 5: Revenue emerges, move deals towards close o 40-60 outbound calls per week o 30-40 emails per week o 6-8 intro meetings booked o 4-6 SQLs created o 3-4 proposals/demos delivered o Pipeline of $200K o Close at least 1 small deal (even pilot/entry level engagement) o COMMISSION: 80% of activity and at least 1 deal or pilot - Month 6: Full ramp, demonstrate consistent performance and revenue contribution o 40-60 outbound calls per week o 30-40 emails per week o 6-8 intro meetings booked o 4-6 SQLs created o 4-5 proposals/demos delivered o Pipeline of $250K o Close $10K - 25K in revenue (depends on deal size) o COMMISSION: 80% of targets and meet minimum revenue target Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year Benefits: * Cell phone reimbursement * Mileage reimbursement * Paid training * Travel reimbursement * Work from home Experience: * B2B sales: 2 years (Preferred) Location: * Grand Rapids, MI 49505 (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Grand Rapids, MI 49505REA Analytics
