GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Retail Sales providing a complete shopping experience for our customers which involves product knowledge, personal assistance, as well as maintaining the highest level of store presentation standards. Looking for an outgoing person who is striving to be store manager. This position has room for growth!! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work 25 hours weekly. * Outstanding Customer Service. * Cover for Manager in absence. * Must work the Saturday Manager is not working. One Saturday per pay period. Preferably the opening shift and no less than 7 hours. Friday is equally as important as Saturday as we normally receive shipments on Friday or Thursday. If Manager is not scheduled Friday, the LSA will open and work a shift of no less than 7 hours. This is to receive, process, and get the shipment on the floor ideally by 5:00pm. * Receiving and processing orders (Unpack, ticket, and placement of new merchandise). * Accuracy with money handling / cash register. * Folding, hanging, and re-stocking merchandise keeping store in good display order. * Ringing up purchases. * Bank deposits / cash drawer change. * Light cleaning (vacuuming & dusting). * Opening and closing store - daily paperwork. * Loss Prevention: understanding and practicing procedures. * Self-motivated. * Anything deemed necessary by Manager. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: * Education: High School diploma or equivalent * Age: Must be 18 or older. * Experience: Previous Retail Sales required, Customer Service required. Must be familiar with a POS system.
