Full description of the position
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Lines Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional support and ensuring a positive experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, with the ability to handle inquiries efficiently and effectively. Duties * Prospect and generate new business leads through networking, referrals, and outreach. * Sell personal and commercial Property & Casualty insurance policies. * Manage the full sales cycle from quoting to closing. * Provide excellent customer service to maintain high retention rates. * Cross-sell and re-write policies to maximize client coverage and agency growth. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details. * Comply with state insurance regulations and agency standards. Requirements * Active Florida 2-20 General Lines (P &C) License 4-40 license - required * Prior sales experience in personal and/or commercial P&C insurance. * Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a commission-based environment. * Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills. * Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
