Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Jewelry Associate to join our team! The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales through effective communication and presentation skills. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about jewelry, sales or someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities: - Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing personalized attention to ensure a positive shopping experience. - Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including jewelry care and maintenance, to effectively communicate with customers. - Stock and organize jewelry merchandise on display, ensuring that the store is visually appealing and easy to navigate. - Handle cash and operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency. - Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding jewelry pieces, including prices, materials, and craftsmanship. - Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments. - Perform basic math calculations to process transactions and handle cash and credit transactions. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in the jewelry industry, is preferred. - Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register. - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide personalized attention to customers. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets. - Supervisory experience is an asset, but not necessary for the role.
