Full description of the position

MVM is currently seeking a detailed oriented individual to join our millwork sales team. Primary responsibility is perform accurate plan take-offs and create detailed millwork estimates; creating Sales Orders for: windows, exterior and interior doors, trim, casing, base, stair parts, hardware, etc. Which can include meeting with homeowners to select: doors, mantels, stair parts, upgraded hardware, etc. Also responsible for ordering windows, exterior doors and special order items, as needed. Base salary + commissions. - Good organizational and computer skills. Typing Quotes, Sales Orders & Purchase Orders. - Must have 2+ years experience selling millwork including doors, windows, stair parts and/or general building product knowledge. - Ability to work with vendors and coworkers in a team environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to understand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc. Ex: Calculating measurements & Pricing materials. - Proficiency communicating product features, specs and recommendations to homeowners. Research products and manuals online. - May coordinate customer deliveries with shipping personnel. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
