POSITION SUMMARY As a sales professional at Sara Bay Marine Group, you will assist customers throughout the sales and brokerage process, from a professional greeting to value building our exceptional brands and helping them close on the boat of their dreams. Your principal duty is to ensure a seamless, exciting and stress free purchase experience. This position is 100% commission based but terms for a temporary draw can be negotiated in the offer. Sales professionals with little experience can make a great career in this industry, but we'll typically know within 90 days whether it's for you. Competitive brokerage commission structure for licensed brokers. If not licensed, Sara Bay will pay to obtain license for qualified sales professionals based on 90 day evaluation. Responsibilities -Handle all customers (walk-in, phone calls and online inquiries) with professionalism and kindness. -Use provided tools such as the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to maintain database of prospects. -Evaluate customer wants and needs to assist with finding the right vessel. -Presenting products to all prospects and review features and benefits presentation. -Develop strong relationships with customers -Meet and exceed all sales goals -Participate in all assigned boat shows and events -Continuously train on product knowledge and feature benefit presentations using media, resources and role playing -Assist customers post sale to maintain exceptional customer service -Maintain accurate customer database -Manages the full delivery process from closing to receipt of vessel by coordinating with Business Manager, Service Department and Delivery Captain. -Be able to demonstrate ability to drive boats and perform demos with customers -Be proficient with basic computer skills -Maintain and organized workspace QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or equivalent * Experience in sales, preferably in the marine industry * Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar platforms). * Solid understanding of the marine industry and it's products * Flexible schedule does require some weekend work Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
