Overview The Bug Master , a respected and well-established leader in the pest control industry, is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive revenue growth and enhance sales effectiveness across multiple teams and regions. This strategic leadership role is perfect for a proven sales executive with a track record of scaling teams, exceeding targets, and building repeatable processes in a recurring service environment. Reporting to executive leadership, you will collaborate closely to enhance sales execution, boost performance visibility through data-driven insights, coach high-performing sales and service leaders, and accelerate sustainable growth in residential and commercial markets. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales budgets and forecasts to drive company revenue growth and profitability targets. * Lead strategic sales planning, including market analysis, trend identification, and opportunity prioritization to capitalize on residential and commercial pest control demand. * Lead, manage, and hold team accountable. Provide hands-on leadership to regional sales teams: set clear goals, assign quotas, monitor performance, and hold teams accountable for results. * Coach, mentor, and develop sales and service leaders. * Design and maintain KPIs, and sales reporting to deliver real-time visibility into sales pipeline, win rates, and team performance. * Align sales strategy with operational capacity and market demand. * Partner with HR and operations on recruiting, onboarding, and training top sales talent. * Build and implement scalable sales processes, standards, and playbooks to drive consistency, improve close rates, and enhance customer experience. Qualifications * 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience managing teams or regions in a service-based organization. * Proven track record in B2B and B2C sales with consistent revenue target achievement in recurring service models. * Previous roles such as Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales, General Manager, or equivalent with P&L or quota responsibility. * Strong expertise in sales operations, pipeline management, forecasting, KPIs, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). * Experience in pest control or related home/service industries (e.g., HVAC, lawn care, security) strongly preferred. * Balances strategic planning with hands-on execution. * Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
