We are looking for an_ experienced Ford and Mazda Sales Manager _ to join our growing sales department. Car sales experience and previous automotive sales management experience is required. Applicants must be high energy, personable individuals with a professional appearance and strong customer relations skills. You'll work closely with upper management as well as the sales associate to ensure the business needs are met. WHAT WE OFFER: * Competitive pay * Variety of health insurance options and dental plan * Health/wellness programs * 401K * Paid time off * Annual off-site holiday parties * Community involvement opportunities * Monthly employee lunches RESPONSIBILITIES: * Monitor and analyze salespeople's performance and assist salespeople in closing deals. * Supervise salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership. * Hiring and monitoring the performance of sales consultants. * Meeting with vehicle sales consultants to implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits. * Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals * Working directly with the general manager on making recommendations on both short and long-range advertising plans, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions and compensation plans. * Work with business manager to ensure that dealership policies are understood. * Realize monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals and objectives for the department. * Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process. * Build rapport with customers to establish customer network. * Auditing all appraisals of trade-in vehicles. * Manage the new vehicle inventory including ordering and dealer trades. * Help manage all other aspects of the sales department. * Know and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales. * Desk Deals, Track Gross Logs and RDR cars. REQUIREMENTS: * You MUST have a minimum of 3 years automotive sales managerial experience. * Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Understanding of inventory control. * Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM). * Professional, strong work ethics and must be very detail oriented. * Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
