Summary: As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be the primary client contact for solving complex operational and mechanical challenges. You'll lead proposal development, conduct inspections, and manage field service projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities: * Identify and pursue aftermarket sales opportunities * Lead technical proposal development and client presentations * Conduct engineering studies * Perform equipment inspections and recommend solutions * Manage field service projects and coordinate cross-functional teams * Represent Deltak at industry events and trade shows * Maintain records of site conditions and customer interactions * Apply strong attention to detail and organizational skills to coordinate multiple project deadlines. * Communicate effectively, be persuasive, and make presentations on complex topics. * Ability to interpret engineering and specification drawings. * Travel up to 25% Technical Skills: * Strong technical knowledge in areas of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid flow, process systems, steam and other related process system. * Solid engineering background to understand boiler system components and operation, encompassing boiler design, performance evaluation, operation, and ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Sections I and VIII a plus. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specification. * Intermediate to advanced technical software skills to keep accurate and easily accessible records such as MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Education: * B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred with a thorough working knowledge in the areas of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid flow and process systems. * Equivalent experience considered Experience: * 5 years related experience working in a technical environment with technical troubleshooting and report writing experience. * HRSG and Waste Heat Boiler operation, design, fabrication, or service experience considered an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Aftermarket Sales: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
