Cigar Insurance USA, based in Warwick, Rhode Island, is the nation's leading Property & Casualty insurance agency serving the cigar industry. We support cigar lounges, retailers, manufacturers, and distributors nationwide with tailored commercial insurance solutions. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and sales-focused licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager to help grow our book of business and build strong client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys generating new opportunities, engaging with prospects, and contributing directly to agency growth--while also developing account management skills within commercial lines. Key Responsibilities Account Management * Assist with servicing commercial accounts--policy changes, certificates, billing questions, claims support, and renewal preparation. * Provide exceptional customer service to foster long-term client relationships and improve retention. * Help re-market accounts when necessary and support coverage reviews with clients. * Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence. Sales & Lead Generation * Respond quickly to inbound leads and convert inquiries into qualified opportunities. * Conduct outbound follow-ups, warm calls, and targeted outreach to prospective cigar lounge owners and industry businesses. * Assist in building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting activity. * Prepare quotes, gather underwriting information, and support the sales process from initial contact through binding. * Participate in agency marketing initiatives, email campaigns, and industry outreach efforts to generate new business. * Track and document all sales activity within AMS360 and internal systems. Qualifications * Experience working in a Property & Casualty Insurance Agency * Rhode Island P&C License is a plus; licensing support available. * Sales / Marketing experience preferred * Experience with AMS360 is a plus Skills & Attributes * Sales-driven mindset with strong communication and persuasion skills. * Comfortable making calls, following up with prospects, and discussing coverage options. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management abilities. * Tech-savvy and proficient with computer systems and digital communication tools. * Team-oriented, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
