Full description of the position

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior-Level Sales Rep with experience in upholstery, textiles, or fabric sales within the furniture and/or interiors industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and effectively promoting luxury interior textile products. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying market opportunities and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities * Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets. * Manage assigned territory, ensuring coverage and engagement with potential clients. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to prospective customers. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while seeking opportunities for upselling. * Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns. * Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. * Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics. Skills * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Textiles is preferred, not required. * 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience in the luxury fabrics, textile or upholstery industries is highly preferred. * Strong understanding of market dynamics and sales management principles. * Proven experience in territory management and account management. * Proven experience in cold calling, managing/building accounts, prospecting and generating new business through tradeshows, industry publications, market research and online tools. * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. * Proficiency in MS Office, CRM and ERP tools. * Proficiency in conducting product demos that engage potential customers and enabling effective communication of product specifications. * Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships. * Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail. * Must be able to lift fabric and upholstery samples cases weighing up to 70lbs. * Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
