Tampa area manufacturer of precision-machined parts, is looking to expand its customer base, and develop additional sales in the southeast US with OEMs. Emphasis in, but not limited to, Hydraulics, Defense, Medical, Aerospace and Automotive. Qualifications would include experience in a manufacturing environment as well as proven sales skills in the above mentioned fields. The Salesperson will be working with our VP of Operations and internal Manufacturing Engineers. This fulltime position is based at our Clearwater Florida Facility. The Salesperson will be expected to have prospect potential new business by means of cold calling and face to face meetings with prospective customers and time spent in our office. Prospective applicants must have the ability to engage on a technical level with manufacturing Engineers and Purchasing Personnel. Salary commensurate with experience, commission, expenses and complete benefits including 401k. Responsibilities Contact potential customers within the scope of our industry to gain new business Work with collaboratively with both Quality and Engineering internally, to prepare quotations for new and existing customers Support existing client base to expand new and additional business. Qualifications Proven Manufacturing Sales background in the fields mentioned above, knowledge of machining processes or precision turned parts is a plus Highly motivated professional. Experience Sales in Defense, Aerospace, Medical, Automotive environment with 3-5 years+ preferred Practical engineering and industrial knowledge would be a plus Bachelor's degree preferred.
