Impex Chevrolet - GMC is looking for a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer's experience in service. You are the first point of contact with our customers for product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. This is a full time Position. Job Summary * Greet Customers and advise of work required for their vehicles, in a professional and friendly manner. Ensuring the best possible level of customer satisfaction. General Responsibilities * Performs a full customer greeting along with a full vehicle walk around. * Review every vehicle's history with the customer to recommend any required maintenance or repairs. * Ensure the service department phones are answered in a timely fashion and make customer appointments. * Ensure each vehicle is scanned with the e-advisor stick. * Write clear work order stories for the technicians to aid in clear communication. * Review the multi point inspections with each customer and sell the required repairs. * Ensure all customers receive proper follow-up regularly throughout the service visit. * Verify that pictures and/or video are attached to every quote and sent to the customer by both email and text message. * Ensure all customer cars receive the complimentary car wash and inspect that the car is clean and ready for the customer. * Ensure each completed repair order is closed and matches the estimate the customer received. * Ensure at the end of the service visit, each customer's car is brought up for them and they are walked out to the vehicle and receive a full explanation of the services completed. * Ensure repair orders are closed unless the vehicle is staying on the premises or warranty is to be claimed. * Ensure that parts are prepaid if a customer is leaving and returning for any repairs at a later date. * Use any and all safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for all and report any violations to the immediate supervisor. * The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
