Jewelry Sales Associate (2 Openings) George Thompson Diamond Company -- Camarillo, CA (In-Store) Location: 309 W Ventura Blvd #D, Camarillo, CA 93010 About George Thompson Diamond Company George Thompson Diamond Company is a family-run (women owned and operated) fine jewelry store serving Camarillo and Ventura County since 1977. We're known for thousands of in-stock styles, exceptional service, and a reputation built on trust, value, and long-term client relationships. Our team brings 200+ years of combined experience, and many of our sales associates have completed the GIA diamond grading course, we believe in education and helping clients feel confident in every purchase. The Opportunity We're hiring two experienced Jewelry Sales Associates to join our seasoned, supportive team. What You'll Do * Provide elevated, consultative selling for fine jewelry, diamonds, engagement rings, gold jewelry, and gifts * Build long-term client relationships through thoughtful follow-up and clienteling * Guide clients through style selection, diamond education, and purchase decisions, start to finish * Support custom inquiries, repairs intake, and special orders with accuracy and care * Maintain beautiful merchandising and showroom presentation * Work collaboratively with a tenured team that values service, integrity, and results * Help drive results in-store and assist with online/pickup needs as needed (we ship and support online buyers too) Requirements (Must-Haves) * 2+ years of jewelry sales experience (fine jewelry strongly preferred) * Proven ability to sell with confidence, warmth, and professionalism * Strong product curiosity (diamonds, gold, gemstones) and desire to keep learning * Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented * Comfortable working Saturdays (and occasional Sundays/seasonal peak days) * Ability to stand for extended periods and assist clients at the counter/showcases What We Offer * Exceptional commission structure (strong earning opportunity for driven sellers) * Health insurance * 401(k) contribution * Paid time off + sick leave after 1 year of employment (per company policy) * A stable, family-owned business with long-tenured staff and a welcoming culture * Ongoing learning/education in a store that prioritizes helping clients make informed decisions Schedule * In-store role in Camarillo * Store hours include Mon-Sat (and some Sundays) * We'll discuss full-time scheduling during interviews (two openings available) How to Apply Apply here on Indeed with your resume.
