The Key Account Sales Representative serves as a primary sales and relationship contact for 3E's large regional and national customers. This role focuses on developing new business and managing existing key accounts within industries such as ethanol production, agricultural processing, and industrial processing facilities nationwide. You will promote 3E's products, services, and capabilities while tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of customer job sites across the country. This position requires strong technical knowledge of electrical products, consultative selling skills, and the ability to travel frequently to customer locations. Essential Job Functions * Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing regional and national key accounts * Build a deep understanding of 3E's services, solutions, and product offerings and act as an advocate for customer support * Project manage multiple customer jobs to ensure timelines and budgets are met * Assess customer needs by asking effective questions and understanding applications to recommend appropriate products, services, and shipping solutions * Communicate clearly with customers to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction * Serve as a liaison with key vendor partners, including Square D, Appleton, Killark, Kohler, and Strut/Pipe/Wire suppliers Minimum Qualifications * Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of electrical products and their functions * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience * Ability to travel to local and remote customer locations, including overnight travel * Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English * Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets 3E and parent company standards * Strong math skills, including percentages, decimals, and discount calculations Working Conditions Working conditions vary by customer location and may include construction sites, warehouses, manufacturing environments, offices, or outdoor settings. This role may require walking, standing, and climbing in environments that include extreme heat or cold. Travel is primarily to remote customer locations and frequently includes overnight stays.
