POSITION SUMMARY The Wellness Advisor is the heartbeat of the studio experience. Reporting to the General Manager, this role blends relationship-based sales, exceptional hospitality, and community building. You are often the first and last impression our members have -- greeting them by name, helping them find the right classes, answering questions with confidence, and guiding them into membership with authenticity and care. You play a key role in both new member acquisition and ongoing retention , while helping maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming studio environment. WHAT YOU 'LL DO Sales & Member Experience * Guide prospective members through the full sales journey -- from first inquiry to confident commitment * Build genuine relationships through studio tours, thoughtful follow-up, and personalized recommendations * Educate guests on YogaSix class formats, memberships, pricing, and retail offerings * Support retention by helping members feel seen, supported, and excited to return * Meet and exceed individual and studio sales goals set by the General Manager Community & Brand Presence * Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the front desk and throughout the studio * Participate in local events, grassroots marketing, and community partnerships * Represent YogaSix with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm -- in studio and in the community Operations & Studio Support * Assist with merchandise transactions and inventory organization * Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting studio environment * Support special events, promotions, and team initiatives as needed * Continuously develop selling, communication, and hospitality skills WHO YOU ARE * Friendly, confident, and naturally engaging * Goal-oriented and motivated by both personal growth and team success * Comfortable starting conversations and building rapport * Organized, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment * Passionate about wellness, movement, or community (yoga experience is a plus, not a requirement) QUALIFICATIONS * Excellent communication and customer service skills (in person, phone, and email) * Sales experience or strong interest in learning relationship-based selling * Ability to learn and use ClubReady and other basic software systems * Proficient computer skills * Fluent in English * Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities * Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays * Part-time position * Occasional local travel and event participation may be required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours) * Ability to bend, lift, reach, kneel, and climb stairs * Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally * Visual and auditory abilities required for in-person and phone communication COMPENSATION & PERKS * Competitive hourly wage * Performance-based bonus opportunities * Complimentary YogaSix membership * Employee retail discounts * Opportunities for growth into senior sales or management roles * Supportive, energetic, community-driven work environment EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT YogaSix provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
