Full description of the position

Serendipity Wines is in search of a merchandiser for the North Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock and Leander, TX area. This person will be responsible for performing merchandising activities for assigned stores, and will maintain displays as well as stock products as needed. Essential Duties: * Stock incoming orders to the designated locations as set by the store or sales rep * Fill and rotate all product in the cold box so that the new bottles are in the back and the current(cold) bottles are in the front * Maintain and replenish product displays to ensure optimal presentation * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for restocking * Analyze sales data to adjust merchandising strategies accordingly * Perform sales support functions to include the oversight of the shelf space, consistent communication with sales representatives regarding changes in buyer preferences and or out of stock inventory concerns/situations encountered during business hours * Stay knowledgeable of business/market conditions, recognize new opportunities within each account and support the sales representative's visibility and market saturation in the account * Collaborate with store management to plan promotional displays * Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards * Perform other work related duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Previous experience in merchandising or retail preferred * Strong organizational and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state vehicle registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record. * Lift and carry 45+ pound case of product on a repetitive basis * Must be 21 years of age * Excellent communication Skills * Must obtain/have a working cellular phone Compensation * $18.00+ an hour depending on experience * $50 month cell phone reimbursement under your own plan Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Cell phone reimbursement * Dental insurance * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
