Lighting Sales Representative Modern Lightscapes is an exterior lighting solutions company that offers a variety of outdoor lighting solutions. From landscape lighting to permanent roofline lighiting we are on the cutting edge of exterior lighting design for residential and commercial customers. If you have experience selling to home owners and commercial clients and are excited to get into the fast growing color-chaning lighitng space we want to talk to you. As a sales representative for Modern Lightscapes, you are responsible for selling products and services to residential and commercial customers. This role involves building relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets. Sales leads will come in from advertising efforts, trade shows, and referrals. You will also have the opportunity to generate your own leads through networking or cold calling on local businesses. Day to day, you will be contacting new leads to schedule appointments, conducting product demonstrations, meeting with prospective customers, creating quotes, and performing proper follow-up with both prospective clients and customers who have had lights installed. Residential Sales * Respond promptly to inbound leads from advertising, home/trade shows, and referrals * Schedule and conduct in-home sales consultations * Capture photos of projects using the Company Cam app * Design lighting solutions and develop accurate quotes using pricing tools * Consult with Operations Manager and Install Lead on projects as needed * Follow up on quotes and close sales with professionalism and product knowledge. * Maintain detailed records in CRM, including notes and next steps * Once sale is closed, ensure a smooth transition for the scheduling and installation team * Follow up with each client after installation to ensure customer satisfaction * Participate in scheduled sales meetings * Meet or exceed monthly sales goals/quota Commercial Sales & Business Development * Identify potential commercial customers * Distribute marketing materials * Enter leads, track progress, and next steps in CRM * Coordinate with the marketing team on referral programs and campaigns * A target list will be provided in addition to self-generated leads Events & Brand Promotion * Represent Modern Lightscapes in a sales capacity at trade shows, community events, and retail pop-ups * Assist with booth setup and tear-down * Share feedback and customer insights with the team to improve materials and process * Self-starter with a positive attitude and professional appearance * Confident and engaging communicator (in person, phone, email) * Ability to work independently with a proven sales record with high close rate * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * CRM experience preferred (Jobber) * Willingness to learn technical aspects of lighting solutions * Reliable transportation for local travel to customer appointments * Previous sales experience in Home Services a plus Qualifications * Sales experience in lighting, landscaping, home improvement, solar, roofing, gutter or other home service business * Highly motivated and driven with a consistent track record hitting sales targets * Proficient in business applications * Experience with and proficiency in CRM software * Ability to calculate percentages, sales prices, and discounts quickly and accurately * Desire to continuously improve sales skills and to increase sales success rates * Must be organized, reliable, able to multitask, and have a positive attitude * Outstanding selling, negotiation, and communication skills * Minimum High school diploma or equivalent * A four-year degree is preferred Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Experience: * Sales: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
