Position Summary The Sales Representative will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining client relationships within the environmental, construction, and remediation sectors. This individual will represent United Retek's services and capabilities to new and existing clients, leveraging strong communication, technical understanding, and industry awareness to support the company's strategic goals. Key Roles and Responsibilities * Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, and participation in trade shows and industry events. * Leverage existing professional contacts while building new relationships with Project Managers, Licensed Site Professionals (LSPs), Construction Managers, General Contractors, and Environmental Services firms. * Utilize online project databases (e.g., Planhub) to identify upcoming bid opportunities. * Collaborate closely with leadership to qualify leads, prepare proposals and quotations, and assist with project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling. * Establish and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline that supports continuous, year-round revenue generation, including seasonal opportunities in southern markets. * Develop a strong working knowledge of United Retek's suite of environmental services, equipment, and operational techniques. * Participate in on-site training and project activities to gain hands-on understanding of field operations and processes. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to environmental stabilization and remediation. * Coordinate with internal teams and sister companies within the Retek ecosystem to align efforts, share resources, and achieve common business objectives. * Support marketing initiatives by contributing to updates on company materials, website content, and social media presence as related to sales efforts. Required Skills and Qualifications * Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the environmental services, construction, or related industries. * Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities through professional networking and strategic outreach. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. * High level of self-motivation, organization, and goal orientation. * Willingness to learn technical aspects of United Retek's operations and equipment to effectively represent company capabilities to clients. * Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to supporting shared success across all divisions. * OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain; 8-hour annual refresher required). * Valid driver's license and personal vehicle in good condition. * Ability and willingness to travel as required for trade shows, client meetings, and site visits.
