Join Velocity Business Solutions Truist Building - Downtown St. Petersburg, FL (In-Office Role) Velocity Business Solutions is a stable, growth-oriented payments and technology company with over 26 years in business. We help merchants optimize their payment processing, POS systems, and business technology. We are expanding our inside sales team and looking for proven phone-based sales professionals who want structure, accountability, and strong earning potential. Role: Inside Sales Account Executive We are actively seeking a full-time Account Executive, based in St. Petersburg, FL. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business growth by developing client relationships, managing accounts, and delivering top-tier payment processing solutions. Key Responsibilities: * What You 'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities) As an Inside Sales Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to prospect, qualify, present, and close deals over the phone. Daily activities include: * Making 70 -80 outbound dials per day to new and existing leads * Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closed sale * Qualifying business owners and decision-makers * Setting and running discovery calls with merchants * Presenting payment processing, POS, and technology solutions * Sending follow-ups, proposals, and applications * Maintaining accurate activity, notes, and pipeline updates in HubSpot CRM * Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly activity and revenue targets * Participating in sales meetings, training, and coaching sessions What We 're Looking For Required * Phone sales experience (inside sales, call center, or outbound sales) * Comfort making high daily call volumes * Experience taking prospects through a complete sales process * Strong communication, follow-up, and closing skills * Coachable, disciplined, and accountable * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred) Preferred * HubSpot CRM experience * Technology, fintech, or payment processing experience * Experience selling to small and mid-sized business owners * Bilingual Proficiency: Applicant is fluent in Spanish; this is a plus but not a requirement.
