Overview

We are a medium sized Electrical Contractor in Madison Co seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from conception to completion. We primarily work around Central Indiana on Commercial, Institutional, K-12, and Light Industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical project management. This role requires organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Duties

• Lead and manage multiple electrical projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other contractors on a project.
• Electrical estimating.
• Business development.
• Labor management.
• Purchasing/ Job material buy-outs.
• Reviewing job costs and completing WIP reports.
• Monitor project efficiency and productivity.
• Prepare and review contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, address issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical project management or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and standards related to electrical installations.
• Proficiency in project scheduling tools and software, including Bluebeam for document management.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in construction estimating processes.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
