To learn more, visit our website at [please apply online] We are currently hiring a Division Manager for our Masonry Division. This key role is responsible for the entirety of operations in the division. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring core values are followed by all, customer relations, hiring new team members, leading and managing project managers and field supervisors, safety, quality control, and division profitability. Leadership and relationship building skills are essential to this role as the Division Manager will be managing his or her team as well as maintaining higher level customer relationships. This person will be highly motivated and will possess the ability to quickly identify priorities in order to focus on the most important concerns in the division at any given time. It will be necessary for the person in the Division Manager role to take ownership of all aspect of business within the division. [please apply online] Qualifications: * Strong Work Ethic * Driver's License (Required) * Construction Experience: 7 Years (Required) Job Responsibilities: * Maintain healthy value-based relationships with high-level customers such as construction managers and purchasing managers. * Entertain key decision makers in current client base. * Seek out new ideas and business opportunities to maximize client-based revenue. * Ensure project managers and subcontractors are operating within Pinnacle Contracting Services values and guidelines. * Leverage current business model to ensure quality and profit-based structure maximizes the division's opportunity. * Develop and grow this model to ensure optimum exposure in current market. * Working on negotiation with sales team. * Work with VP of Operations and VP of Sales to ensure current pricing is maximizing profitability. * Work with Leadership team to develop and maintain an efficient and adequate division staff, balancing employee needs and profitability to find the optimum model for the division. This includes maintaining proper compensation for the division's team. * Manage all division-specific expenses to maximize sustainable profitability. * Bolster project management staff and subcontractor base to ensure proper and efficient use of organization resources. * Perform weekly project manager meetings to identify areas of need and guidelines for operations. * Facilitate the management database of materials needed for current product line and community specifications. * Set baseline revenue and profitability goals with sales and VP of Operations and implement necessary measures to ensure goals are met. * Complete month-end reports on current state of profitability. * Provide training on proper procedures to perform daily job site checks and properly run a job per Pinnacle standards. * Provide direction and training for project managers to utilize database tools for material and labor tracking. If database does not exist for certain projects, it is the division manager's responsibility to facilitate its creation. * Assist project management in the implementation of complete and accurate takeoffs for all home models. * Work with project managers to ensure all extras are billed and collected in a prudent manner. * Assist project managers with standardized material ordering system based on client model and community specifications. * Assist project managers in relationship development. * Work with Project Accounting and AP departments to ensure timely invoicing, subcontractor, and vendor invoice approvals. Daily Tasks: * Promote safe operations and driving. * Review schedule with project managers. * Customer relations. * Ensure all daily data is captured and documented in daily log. * Ensure VPO requests are made in a timely fashion. Weekly Tasks: * Weekly travel and site visits with field team. * Promote company core values. * Promote quality and cleanliness standards. * Continuous development of field staff and subcontractor base. * Coordinate and ensure collection calls for unwritten VPOs with project management. * Review unbilled job log and ensure the project accountants have all information necessary to complete billings. * Review VPO log. * Participate in weekly Level 10 meetings with operations team and lead the local division team Level 10 meeting. Monthly / Quarterly / Annual Tasks: * Month-end close. * Travel into other divisions. * Quarterly field staff and PM check-in meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page. * Annual reviews for all field staff. * Participate with VP of Operations and VP of Sales to set annual revenue and profitability goals. * Engage with SLT in division budgeting process.
