Koontz & Associates is a fast-growing, energetic, and collaborative law firm seeking an Associate Real Estate Transaction Attorney to join our expanding real estate practice. What You 'll Do

• Handle mostly residential and some commercial real estate closings , including issuance of title insurance
• Draft and review residential and commercial leases
• Work on real property sales and acquisitions
• Draft and review purchase and sale agreements and related transaction documents
• Review surveys and title commitments
• Communicate regularly with clients, realtors, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel to keep transactions moving smoothly
• Manage multiple transactions while meeting strict deadlines What We 're Looking For
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle a fast-paced workload with strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients and third parties
• A collaborative, team-first mindset -- someone who's willing to jump in and help when needed
• Working knowledge of TRID requirements Preferred (but not required):
• Experience with 1031 exchanges and FIRPTA
