Full description of the position

The eviction processing clerk will be overseeing many client accounts. They will be responsible for reviewing court stipulations/orders, requesting warrants with internal staff members, proof reading documents to ensure accuracy before processing, scheduling court dates, initiating new cases of non-payment and holdovers and providing case status updates to clients via e-mail and phone. Running reports, preparing the daily calendar of files, e-filing documents to NYSCEF. Attention to detail is very important and strong organizational skills are required. The eviction processing clerk must also have good communication skills and a proficient understanding of Microsoft Office applications. This candidate will also be trained on how to e-file documents and search for cases on the New Your State Electronic Filing System which is used by all clerks in our office on a daily basis.
