*Development Associate - Women's Care Center, Naples Women's Care Center is the nation's largest pregnancy resource center. Founded by a Catholic theologian in 1984, this organization now serves 40,000 women annually from 38 centers in 12 states. Our mission is to help pregnant women choose life for their babies, have healthier pregnancies, become better parents, and take first steps to self-sufficiency. To help advance our mission, we are seeking a Development Associate to garner support in the local community for our Naples Center. * Assist the Planning/Executing Luxury Bingo & Other Local Events: Assist in organizing all aspects of the Luxury Bingo events in Naples and other community events. This includes attending Bingo Committee meetings, securing sponsorships, assisting in managing invitations, and expanding the events' reach and impact. * Direct Mail Projects: Assist in the execution of all direct mail campaigns that require assembly. These projects are highly organized and require attention to detail. * Cultivate Community Support : Manage a moderate portfolio of donors through personalized outreach, including mailings and nurturing phone calls. Cultivate new donors through community engagement and providing support to the director at various community events. * Promote the Mission : Share the organization's mission with local churches and community impact groups to generate additional awareness and support. * Manage a moderate portfolio of donors by building relationships with an entrepreneurial mindset, working collaboratively with the development director and client care team. * Establish and maintain an organized system to manage all aspects of your role. * Support the development director by assisting in the preparation of donor communications, including appeal letters, mailings, thank-you notes, tax receipts, and event materials with high attention to detail. * Provide support to the development director by assisting in organizing and executing smaller fundraising events such as diaper drives and material assistance drives. * Update donor profiles within the donor database to ensure strategic communication. * Recruit, coordinate, and manage volunteers to support organizational initiatives. * This position requires local travel to meet with donors, businesses, and community partners. Reliable transportation is necessary for travel throughout the surrounding areas, including Naples, Fort Myers, Marco Island and Bonita Springs. All mileage is reimbursed at company rate. * Assist in the acquisition of sponsorships, event attendees and prizes for the Bingo Event. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: Preferred background in nonprofit, sales or marketing. Passion, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn are highly valued--training is provided. * Strong relationship-building skills with diverse individuals and groups. * Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking initiative. * Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
