Job description IV Medical Services is looking to fill multiple positions with experienced self-motivated medical billers with the desire for a stable long-term career. We are a growing multi-office healthcare company responsible for the end-to- end revenue cycle process for our clients that is offering an excellent opportunity for the right candidate in our Hauppauge office. Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Charge entry w/surgical coding validation
• Payment posting and denial management
• AR follow-up including the investigation/resolution of discrepancies in accounts receivable records, identifying denial trends, combatting denials, and writing appeals
• Contacting patients to collect and follow up on overdue invoices
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of collection activities and communications
• Communication with clients/management regarding collection obstacles and metrics met The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum one (1) year experience
• Ability to handle multiple accounts while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Strong computer skills preferred including working with various billing programs as well as Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and organization
• Proactive approach to problem-solving, and process improvement
• Ability to thrive in an environment of change and growth
• Surgical billing a plus, especially ORTHOPEDICS, PLASTICS, and DERMATOLOGY specialties Salary is Commensurate with Experience Job Type: Full-time, in-office
