Duties * Must be TIPS certified (in person local law Natick) to Operate the cash register and credit card machine accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with confidence For the sale of Cigarette, Wine, Beer & Liquor. * Provide engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to explore new items and make informed purchasing decisions. * Assist customers with their shopping needs by offering personalized recommendations and upselling relevant products to enhance their experience. * Maintain organized and attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices to maximize sales opportunities. * Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions clearly, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. * Manage phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls as needed. * Support inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and ensuring the sales floor remains tidy and inviting. Skills * Proven experience with Cash Register, credit card machine transactions and cash handling procedures in a retail or liquor store environment. * Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts. * Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively. * Demonstrated ability to review products confidently while highlighting features that appeal to customers' needs * Excellent phone etiquette combined with friendly interpersonal skills for engaging with customers over the phone or in person. * Knowledge of liquor/package store operations including stocking, merchandising, and inventory management. * Basic math skills necessary for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers efficiently.
