HPT is hiring! The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for quoting, product application and recommendations, assisting with technical product support and trouble shooting to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

Customer Contact and Technical Support:

• Serve as the lead customer contact point for product quoting and technical support.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve customer inquiries related to products. Quoting Process Management:
• Manage the product and custom solutions quoting process.
• Read part print drawings and produce simple sketches for quoting purposes. Training and Sales Meetings:
• Participate in technical training and sales meetings for representatives, distributors, and end users.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions as needed. Industry Knowledge:
• Stay current on competitive products and services within the process and surface technology industries.
• Gather and share general information of interest to customers. Sample Order Management:
• Manage sample orders of standard and custom products.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of sample orders. Relationship Building:
• Establish and maintain working relationships with, team members, distributors and customers.
• Provide ongoing support and communication to build strong partnerships. Attendance:
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance to ensure consistent customer support and team collaboration. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge equivalent to two years of technical school, college, business, or required. Requires a minimum of three year's experience to acquire an appropriate knowledge of our product line, customers, and company policies and procedures. Must have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service focus and the ability to adapt to differing personalities. A valid drivers license required. Inspection capabilities and part print reading is a must. Use common measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers, and calipers for dimensional verification to specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is a must. CAD experience a plus.
