The Assistant Account Manager is responsible to provide prompt, accurate and reliable assistance in a team environment. Employees hired for this position have an opportunity to grow and develop their knowledge, skills and abilities, through a combination of educational programs and experiential (on-the-job) training. While this is a remote position, we need candidates who are willing to work Pacific Coast time zone hours. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electronically process policy documents
- Prepare written correspondence
- Update client account information
- Post and maintain activities for follow up, using a diary system
- Process invoices and cancelation notices
- Prepare and process Certificates of Insurance
- Issue auto ID cards
- Process MVR requests
- Maintain electronic files in an orderly, up-to-date manner
- Pro-actively communicate with team members
- Active participation to complete projects and accept delegated tasks, as needed
- Assume other job responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years of similar insurance experience;
- Current, valid license issued by the state Department of Insurance is required;
- Customer Service focus;
- Possess organizational skills to prioritize and manage workflow ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities;
- Effective communication skills, using English language, in written, oral or schedule form;
- Ability to apply the concepts of basic accounting, calculate figures and amounts involving decimals such as fractions, pro-rata and percentages;
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables;
- Computer literate - Proficient use of Windows systems, Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Outlook), database programs and general office equipment;
- Type 45-50 wpm;
