The Job: We are currently recruiting an entry-level Logistics Coordinator. What You Will Be Doing As A Logistics Coordinator: * Maintain and grow relationships with carriers and receivers * Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services * Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment * Maintain regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs, providing responsive customer service and resolving client issues quickly and effectively * Collaborate with other managers and staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives * Oversee inventory of goods, vehicles, and personnel * Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment cycle, ensuring that deadlines are met and policies/procedures are followed Our Ideal Logistics Coordinator Candidate Has: * Team player: able to work independently and as a team to complete goals * Organizing and planning: develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner * Communication: express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization * Complex problem solving: identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions * Social perceptiveness: be aware of other people's reactions and understand why they react the way they do.
