Job Title: Civil Engineer (Licensed P.E.) About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Professional Engineer (P.E.) with strong experience in land development and project management. The ideal candidate excels at leading teams, coordinating with clients and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. This role requires interpersonal skills and a drive to help expand the firm's client base. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage civil engineering projects * Prepare, review, and seal engineering plans, reports, and calculations as a licensed Professional Engineer. * Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and utility providers to ensure project compliance and approvals. * Oversee project teams, delegate tasks and ensure deliverables meet quality and schedule expectations. * Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and present technical findings clearly and professionally. * Support business development by fostering existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for new work. * Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation from concept through construction. Required Qualifications * Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. * 3-5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development * Demonstrated success in project management and team leadership. * Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships. * Proven drive to participate in business development and secure new clients. * Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., Civil 3D, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS, SWMM) a plus. Preferred Skills * Strong understanding of municipal processes, permitting, and design standards. * Experience preparing proposals and responding to RFPs. * Familiarity with local codes, drainage manuals, and development regulations. * Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively. * Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
