Pest Control Service Manager Location: Port Jefferson, NY Company: Organically Green Horticultural Services Type: Full-time, On-site Compensation: Base salary of $80,000 plus commission Role Overview The Pest Control Services Manager will be responsible for both selling pest control services and performing pest control work in the field. This hybrid role ensures that clients receive expert consultation, tailored solutions, and hands-on service delivery. As a new position at Organically Green, the manager will help establish and grow the pest control division, driving revenue while maintaining the company's commitment to eco-friendly practices. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Relations * Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential and commercial markets * Conduct site inspections and provide detailed pest control assessments * Develop customized proposals and service plans aligned with Organically Green's eco-conscious approach * Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups * Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Operations & Service Delivery * Perform pest control treatments using approved, environmentally responsible methods * Manage scheduling and ensure timely completion of service calls * Oversee equipment, materials, and inventory related to pest control operations * Ensure compliance with New York State pest control regulations * Train and mentor future technicians as the division grows Leadership & Strategy * Collaborate with senior management to establish pest control service offerings and pricing models * Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity * Develop operational processes to ensure efficiency and high-quality service delivery * Represent Organically Green as a trusted expert in eco-friendly pest management Qualifications * Valid New York State 7A Pest Control License (required) * Proven experience in pest control operations and/or sales * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible practices * Valid driver's license and clean driving record Physical Requirements * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds * Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions * Ability to bend, kneel, and climb ladders as part of service delivery * Must be able to wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) E-Verify Participation Organically Green participates in the E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility.
