Full description of the position

Under the supervision of the sales manager, the incumbent will be in charge of promoting our floors to existing and potential customers from the California. * Visit retailers and contractors in order to build and maintain long-lasting business relationships; * Meet the needs of our customers by advising and training them on our products; * Adapt their marketing techniques and approach to each customer in order to close sales; * In close collaboration with the inside sales department, participate in the bid process; * Provide good customer and after-sales service; * Take an active role in promotions and new product launches; * Study the market trends and consumer needs; * Represent the company at industry events; * Install and maintain customer displays and showrooms. Requirements : * Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a sales representative; * Knowledge of wood flooring products; * Fluency in English; * Sound knowledge of Office 365; * Live in California Skills : * Is customer service oriented; * Provides high quality customer service and has a customer-based approach based on honesty and integrity; * Is available for regular business travels; * Has good interpersonal skills, is perseverant and has initiative; * Has strong negotiation and organizational skills; * Is able to work in a team or individually.
