Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lumber and Building Materials Territory Sales Manager to maintain relationships and drive growth within our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a proven track record in sales, with the ability to develop strategic relationships with clients and suppliers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the expansion of our lumber and building materials division while providing exceptional service to our customers. The Territory Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, develop business strategies, and ensure the achievement of sales targets in a competitive market environment. Responsibilities * Identify and establish contact with existing and potential customers * Schedule and perform product demonstrations with existing and potential customers * Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers * Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers * Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales * Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic * Generate and submit sales reports to management Skills * Proven experience in sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry * Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills * Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt plans accordingly * Excellent negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset * Knowledge of building materials products, industry standards, and competitive landscape is preferred * Ability to build relationships based on trust, professionalism, and integrity This position is integral to our company's growth strategy, requiring a proactive approach, leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
